Redmi 13C 5G: Get Ready for the December 6 India Launch!

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi will launch its latest budget smartphones in India next week. According to the company, Redmi 13C 5G and Redmi 13C 4G will be launched in the country on December 6. Ahead of the launch, the brand has also confirmed that the Redmi 13C 5G version will come with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ chipset.

The Redmi 13C 4G is currently available in select global markets and the Indian version is likely to have similar specifications. In terms of pricing, the Redmi 13C 5G is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000 in India, while the 4G model is expected to arrive in the country under Rs 10,000. However, this is just a speculation and we advise our readers to wait for an official announcement from the brand.

The Redmi 13C 4G variant for the Indian market is expected to be available in Stardust Black and Star Shine Green colors. Xiaomi has revealed that this model has a 50-megapixel main camera. There are rumors suggesting that the Indian model might get a chip update.

The global version of the Redmi 13C 4G has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720p and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It runs on MIUI software based on Android 13.

As for the 5G variant, the Redmi 13C 5G is set to mark the debut of the Redmi C series in the 5G segment. The phone is expected to feature a generous 6.74-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. Users can expect a smooth viewing experience with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 450 nits peak brightness.

Released earlier this year, the Redmi 12C is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. The smartphone was available in two storage variants – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. They were priced at Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999 at the time of launch.
